Love is Spring
25 February, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Spring is creeping in…I absolutely love waking up and walking home to the sound of birds chirping. I wish I was better at identifying different species and songs. I shall consider devoting some time to honing my “Naturalist” skills in the warmer months. Here’s a stanza from C.S Lewi’s Love’s As Warm As Tears:
Love’s as fresh as spring,
Love is spring:
Bird-song hung in the air,
Cool smells in a wood,
Whispering ‘Dare! Dare!’
To sap, to blood,
Telling ‘Ease, safety, rest,
Are good: not best.’
And here’s some crochet flowers made by Suili, they are so gorgeous.

gasp. it’s Slinkachu’s Little People.
Playing with the notion of surprise, the unexpected, the work aims to highlight the overwhelming feeling of isolation and loneliness which afflicts much of today’s society and to reflect upon the condition of city living – Slinkachu
i wonder if he used condition (singular) to mean an illness/ medical problem.

life as we know it
